Testing Services

Testing is a key part of ensuring accessibility. The earlier issues are identified, the easier they are to fix.

We test against the WCAG standards for usability by people with disabilities. Usability includes ensuring that:

  • Content is perceivable by people with different types of disabilities
  • Forms, controls, navigation and critical workflows are operable
  • The interface and information are understandable

We may run site-wide scans, conduct manual testing with screen readers and alternative input devices, and provide usability advice.

While we encourage website owners to test for accessibility, we recommend campus partners use the form below to contact us for screen reader testing. Effective and comprehensive screen reader testing requires specialized skills and the use of multiple devices.
